Education Development, Training, and Consulting
Education development, training, and consulting for clinicians, teams, and organizations working with people living with serious mental illness.
The focus is on helping individuals understand their care, navigate complex systems, and communicate effectively enough to make use of the full range of supports available to them. This work addresses the gap between high-quality, individualized treatment and patients’ real-world ability to engage with it over time.
Areas of focus include:
Supporting understanding of illness and treatment
Strengthening communication between patients, families, and clinicians
Building navigation skills so people can participate meaningfully in decisions and advocate for themselves, even when symptoms, motivation, or insight fluctuate
Consulting is available now and may include education development, case-based consultation, and training embedded within existing care models.
Program Development
Education and consulting programs are developed collaboratively for each organization, shaped by its specific clinical context, population, and systems of care.
Program development is guided by consistent recovery-oriented principles, with attention to how people understand illness and treatment, communicate across roles, and navigate care within real-world systems over time.
This approach allows education and consulting work to integrate with existing services while remaining responsive to organizational needs rather than imposing a fixed or prescriptive model.
